In order to encourage support for this project to protect land, there is a need to broaden the human understanding through education.

The Green Sod Land Trust invites people to take a broader perspective and to take personal responsibility for being a member of the earth community by doing something to protect Irish land, for the sake of all its inhabitants.

The Green Sod Land Trust, aims to work in co-operation with local individuals, communities, schools and with local and national organisations.

Primary Schools:
We are inviting schools to become involved at grass roots. Download our Primary School education pack of The Universe Story. This pack includes The Story, Teachers notes, Songs, Music, and we will send your school a CD of The Universe Story with all the songs at your request.

Adult Basic Education- Environmental Studies:
Teaching literacy is an opportunity to, not only teach the rudiments of reading, writing and numeracy, but to also raise awareness of how the lifestyle choices we make affect all of life, both now and for future generations. Hence, these Environmental Studies Workbooks with Lesson Plans and suggestions for how it can be taught as an integral part of Adult Basic Education.
